When I used to work abroad, I always had problems trying to find accommodation due to language barriers. There was also the unfamiliarity of different legal systems, which I was not used to.

However I always managed to cope. I realised that there must be a better way. Hence I created iPSOLA.

We live in changing times - increasing demands by employers to move staff; young professionals seeking work abroad; people retiring overseas.

The property market has yet to adapt to customers new needs. Terms and conditions should be explicit at the outset, when renting or purchasing. Furthermore pricing must be transparent. We believe that the homeowner and tenant should get value for money rather than overpay for a dream, which might become a nightmare.

Having spent a lot of time in the last two years looking for my own dream home, I decided that my site should provide as much legal information as possible.  I also got extremely frustrated wading through layers of advertisements and incomplete descriptions.

When I eventually went to see some property, I was really annoyed to discover that the property, to say the least, was not quite as described.

Lastly potential customers should always be aware that as a foreigner or even as an outsider to a new town in their own country, they may be vulnerable to unscrupulous persons who will charge an “ignorance premium”

iPSOLA allows for a more transparent relationship between buyer and seller and reduces the problems in relocating to a new area or country.
